The Huntington Park Police Communications Center is the primary answering point for all 9-1-1 emergency calls and is responsible for the dispatching of police services.
The Communications Center staff is comprised of:

Communications Center Manager
8 full-time Dispatchers
2 part-time Dispatchers

The Communications Center is the critical link between community members calling in for assistance and the Police Officers in the field. When you contact the Communications Center, you will speak with a highly trained Public Safety Dispatcher.

The Communications Center operates with state-of-the-art equipment, including a computer aided dispatch system, GPS automatic vehicle location system, and a new 9-1-1 call taking system. The center is also equipped with video feeds which allow dispatchers to view live video from a closed circuit TV system, as well as from numerous traffic intersection cameras located throughout the city.
